I was talking to a man about investing and I tipped him with information about how I started a Shopify business and my apps. He let me in on a little “secret” of his. Keep in mind we’re in a line at a warehouse for a job and I just so happened to walk behind this dude; we’re about the same height he was a bit shorter maybe. Nonetheless we began talking because he asked where to get the paper I was holding (it was my resume). After about five minutes he told me he is a bank scammer. Meaning that he buys stolen card numbers from the dark web, buys a plethora of netpay cards, inputs information on those cards and cashed out at the ATM. Astonishing! He said “I’m only here so that the IRS isn’t on me about my purchases”. Not very smart to say the least.
